Mascot Rudy concludes his journey through Switzerland at 2,970m

At an altitude of 2,970m, Rudy enjoyed taking nice souvenir photos and greeting tourists from all over the world.

The last destination of the ‘Rudy on Tour’ project for the 2022 season was the Bernese Oberland, more precisely the town of Interlaken and the Schilthorn-Piz Gloria.
Squirrel Rudy walked the ‘Thrill Walk’, before climbing to the summit to admire the stunning 360° view and visit Spy World, an interactive exhibition on the filming of the movie ‘Agent 007 – On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’, which was shot from October 1968 to May 1969 on the Schilthorn.

When visiting the Swissminiatur park in Melide, on the shores of Lake Lugano, you can view the highly accurate 1:25 scale reproduction of the Schilthorn-Pitz Gloria peak.

During this first season of ‘Rudy on Tour’, our mascot visited the cities of Zurich, Rapperswil-Jona, Lucerne, Lausanne and Bern along with their main historic buildings and tourist attractions. Rudy is already planning his tour for the 2023 season and looking forward to discovering many fantastic new places.
