39. Blausee-Mitholz Railway Station (BE)

The new building, built in the typical local ‘chalet’ style, is located on the Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon line at an altitude of 974 metres. In 2033, the 170 inhabitants of Mitholz will have to leave to allow the army to clear the mines in the former depot; it is expected that the resettlement of Mitholz can be completed by the end of 2045.
