23. Leaning tower and Chesa Veglia, St. Moritz (GR)

The tower was built in 1139 and, in two successive stages, raised to 33 metres. The structure, located on moving ground, marks a 5.5 degree inclination to the vertical and is a true emblem of the renowned St. Moritz. It is a bell tower and was thus part of the Saint-Moritz church, demolished in 1893.
