We were honoured to welcome the US Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Scott Miller, along with his team, for a special visit to Swissminiatur. Accompanied by President Dominique Vuigner, the guests had the opportunity to explore Switzerland’s most iconic buildings, monuments and means of transportation, faithfully reproduced in miniature. The enthusiasm of the Ambassador and his staff was tangible, especially in recognising many of the places they had already visited in person.
The day continued with an exclusive experience in our workshop, where the team of artisans revealed the creative process behind each model. The materials and precision techniques used to create these miniature masterpieces were explained. A particularly significant moment was when Ambassador Miller actively participated by painting a part of Bottmingen Castle (BL), a gesture that made the experience even more memorable and enjoyable for all present.
