Monday, March 25th, 2024 marked an exciting moment for fans of miniature, historical trains and model railroading: Swissminiatur added a new jewel to its park-the model of the historical train of the famous Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway.
In addition to the majestic train, visitors can now admire a complete new railway line, the fascinating bridge over the Isorno River, the impressive Intragna Bell Tower, and the Intragna and Verscio train stations. For the creation of this new thematic area, Swissminiatur staff spent 1,500 hours of work.
