133. Isle of Ogoz, de Pont castle ruins and St-Théodule chapel (FR)
The earliest mention of the Lords de Ponts was made in 1179. In the 12th and 13th century they built the «de Pont Castle», which is nowadays totally decayed, and founded a small town. The town was abandoned at the beginning of the 15th century. Since the year the artificial lake of Gruyères was created, what remains of these dazzling beauties of the past lies on a small island.
